Ingredients for Muffins (12 pieces):
- 2 eggs
- 200 g sugar
- 250 ml milk
- 100 ml vegetable oil
- 300 g flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder (optional, for chocolate muffins)
Ingredients for Decoration
- Sugar paste in orange, white, and black (or ready-made edible eyes, ghosts, etc.)
- Chocolate chips and sprinkles
- Icing or whipped cream (optional, for better adhesion of decorations)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy. Add the milk, oil, and vanilla extract, and mix well.
- Combine dry ingredients: In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder (if making chocolate muffins). Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until smooth.
- Bake: Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full. Bake for 20?25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow the muffins to cool completely before decorating.
Decoration
- Prepare the icing: If using whipped cream, whip it until stiff peaks form, and optionally add a drop of orange, green, or purple food coloring for a festive touch.
- Create Halloween shapes: Shape small ghosts, spiders, or pumpkins out of the sugar paste, or simply buy ready-made decorations from the store.
- Decorate the muffins: Spread a layer of icing on top of each muffin and add your decorations.
Wishing you a spooktacular baking experience!
