How to Cook Perfect Hard-Boiled Eggs?

Instructions:

  1. Place the eggs in a pot and cover them with cold water. The water should be deep enough to cover the eggs by at least an inch.
  2. Place the pot on the stove and let the water come to a boil.
  3. Once the water boils, reduce the heat to medium-low and cook the eggs on gentle heat.
  4. For hard-boiled eggs, cook them for approximately 9-12 minutes, depending on the size of the eggs and desired yolk hardness.

After the eggs are cooked, drain them and rinse under cold water or place them in a bowl of ice water to stop further cooking. Then peel them, and they are ready to be enjoyed or used in recipes. Enjoy!
