They are truly a fantastic recipe for sweet tooth enthusiasts like myself and my brother, both cookie lovers, and of course, chocolate ones are no exception. Chocolate cookies are the ones that disappear the fastest. This recipe is simple, and the cookies are quickly prepared.
Ingredients:
- 100 g of semisweet dark chocolate (chopped)
- 40 g of sugar
- 75 g of butter
- a pinch of salt
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar
- 150 g of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
Instructions:
- Allow the butter to soften in a mixing bowl at room temperature for a while.
- Add sugar to the butter and mix into a creamy mixture.
- Incorporate the beaten egg, vanilla sugar, and salt.
- Mix in the flour combined with baking powder, and finally, the chopped chocolate.
- Place flattened cookie dough balls onto a baking tray without lining it with parchment paper, as the cookies easily come off. Leave a few centimeters of space between them, as they will spread a bit while baking.
- Bake for 15 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
- Allow the cookies to cool before serving, then store the remaining cookies in an airtight container with a lid.
I first tried this recipe in December, during the peak of the Christmas season, and now I bake them even in the summer. I hope you'll enjoy them too.
